Problem Solving

Problem Solving

We often encounter issues and problems in both our work and personal lives. Figuring out how to solve those problems can be a challenge, especially when emotions get involved.

Effective problem solving happens when we recognize that there’s a problem in the first place, brainstorm a variety of possible solutions, make a decision about which solution to try, and then act on it. Problem solving skills are what take us from recognizing that there’s an issue to being the type of person who is able to fix it.
