Observation Skills

Observation Skills

Observation skills start with watching people and events, but being a good observer goes beyond that. It’s the ability to observe our surroundings, think about what we’ve seen (and haven’t seen), consider what it means, and then make logical conclusions or decisions based on that observation.

It’s a very important skill, and knowing what stands in the way of being truly observant can help us connect with and respond to situations and people more effectively.
