New Resources for Working with Underrepresented Groups

Summer Burton • April 11, 2023

Literacy and Basic Skills programs have a long history of working with learners from underrepresented groups, and through MLITSD’s Skills for Success initiative we are pleased that new curriculum and resources are available to support you in this work.

We invite you to visit the Underrepresented Groups page on the Literacy Resources and Discussion Forum to access new resources from organizations like Community Literacy of Ontario (CLO), Laubach Literacy Ontario (LLO), and the Ontario Association of Adult and Continuing Education School Board Administrators (CESBA).

Resource topics include adapting to change, setting priorities, self-advocacy, budgeting, organization, time management, and more.
