Mission & Values

Literacy Link South Central supports the adult literacy community by working with partners, funders, and the government to advocate for and build connections between literacy programs and those who could benefit from them.


Our Vision: We envision improving the quality of life in our community through a well-connected and well-resourced literacy service delivery system. 

Our Mission: In the six counties of Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, Literacy Link South Central supports all literacy programs equally and inclusively, respecting diversities in service delivery based on their individual community needs.


Our Commitment to Privacy: Literacy Link South Central (LLSC) is committed to respecting privacy and protecting personal information. We comply with all relevant privacy, personal information and freedom of information acts and government regulations. LLSC will not sell, rent or distribute any private information or contact lists and we will comply with CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation). LLSC will follow privacy legislation and legislation under the Freedom of Information Acts (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act, and Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Act).

Our
Funders

Literacy Link South Central is funded primarily by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development  (MLITSD), which is a part of the Ontario provincial government.

Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) is a part of the Employment Ontario umbrella of MLITSD services. Employment Ontario is the provincial employment and training network that can help you to build your career and to keep learning throughout your working life.
