According to the Canadian government, numeracy skills are used to find, understand, use, and communicate mathematical information presented through words, numbers, symbols, and graphics. For example, we use this skill to perform calculations, manage budgets, analyze data and make estimations. Many jobs require the ability to work with numbers and math, and we use it in our lives at home too.
