Step Up and Succeed (2025/2026)

Literacy Link South Central was pleased to continue Step Up and Succeed, a province-wide initiative focused on strengthening apprenticeship pathways, supporting employers in the skilled trades, and improving collaboration across Ontario’s workforce development systems.


Throughout the second year of this project, we expanded employer engagement, launched new apprenticeship resources, strengthened provincial partnerships, and significantly exceeded project targets.


Key Achievements

  • Launched the newly redesigned Apprenticeship Hub
  • Reached 7,385 Apprenticeship Hub visitors
  • Engaged 618 employers through presentations and events
  • Connected with workforce and apprenticeship organizations across Ontario
  • Delivered 165 social media posts and province-wide marketing campaigns
  • Aired 344 radio ads across Ontario
  • Reached 142 apprenticeship Training Delivery Agents
  • Delivered presentations to 10 Service System Managers and OMSSA
