Literacy Link South Central - Literacy Information & Referral Network

Literacy Link South Central had the priviledge of being a partner in hosting a Workplace Literacy Conference.  The conference was well attended by practitioners, government reps and program support staff from around Ontario.

The conference took place on February 4, 2011 and involved presentations from:

• Dr. Thomas G. Sticht, International Consultant in Adult Education
• Rick Hutchins, Essential Skills Specialist, National Adult Literacy Database (NALD)

The conference also included a panel presentation with local experts on the following assessments:

• Ontario Skills Passport
• PDQ
• TOWES
• Educational Essential Skills Assessment
• CAMERA
