Tamara Kaattari, Executive Director

Tamara has been the Executive Director of Literacy Link South Central for the past twelve years. Before working for Literacy Link South Central, Tamara worked for another regional literacy network in Peterborough and in a community-based literacy program. Tamara's educational credentials include:
- Honours English Degree
- Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) program
- Adult Education courses
Tamara has also taken editing courses through Niagara College, Simon Fraser University, Ryerson University, and the Editors' Association of Canada.
Anne Marie Curtin, Director of Community Relations

Anne Marie has worked for Literacy Link South Central since 1998. Her professional background includes work with children, youth and families in the non-profit sector. She has a BA in Sociology and has completed a Professional Certificate in Adult Education (University of Western Ontario 2007). Anne Marie is a member of the Canadian Society for Training and Development and in 2010 she achieved the Certified Training Practitioner (CTP) designation.
Anne Marie continues to pursue professional development opportunities in the area of Clear Writing to keep aware of best practices and new research in this field. On behalf of Literacy Link South Central, Anne Marie attended the Plain Language International conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2007.
Amanda Burdick, Director of Information

Amanda came on staff at Literacy Link South Central in 2008. Since that time, she has been taking an active role in assessment. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and has a professional background in technology and web-based communications. During her time at LLSC, she has completed the introductory copy editing program through Ryerson University.
Amanda has also been pursuing further education in Clear Writing / Plain Language and in Web 2.0 for Adult Learning.
