About Us

Literacy Link South Central was created in 1991.  We are a non-profit literacy network and a registered charity.  We are funded primarily by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Literacy Link South Central helps to create and maintain a well coordinated literacy system to meet the literacy needs of our service area.

Did you know that 47% of the people of Ontario do not have the necessary skills to read, write or use numbers effectively? 50 000 people each year, in Ontario, decide to upgrade their skills and improve their reading, writing and math. Literacy Link South Central can help!

Literacy Link South Central's Mission Statement

In the six counties of Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, Literacy Link South Central supports all literacy programs equally and inclusively, respecting diversities in service delivery based on their individual community needs.

Literacy Link South Central's Vision Statement
